Stonewash leather

Stonewash leather is leather of the finest quality. It concerns a so-called "Wild aniline" type of leather. The skins used are from European cattle and after the tanning process after treated with wax and oil. This treatment leaves the open structure of natural leather intact and gives the leather a pleasant, full "Touch".
The natural character is emphasized by the (possible) presence of (healed) scars, growth stripes, hear stabbing, netbeten and the beautiful colors. Stonewash leather by the wax and oil finish limited moisture and dirt resistant. As with all natural leathers Stonewash leather may discolor by direct exposure to light (bright) sunlight. Stonewash belonged to the most exclusive and "rich" leathers. Each processed by our Stonewash house is unique, so your furniture too.
